Metronome called home beckons the sort of folks who feel comfort in Hyannis Port With sunlit tears and the sum of all fears, they begin their retort "And this is why we had to Take matters into our own We really, simply had to Discuss it over the phone" Forget fault and wait Date someone that your parents hate, be it manners or horse's gait "And this is why we had to Take matters into our own We really, simply had to Discuss it over the phone And this is why we had to And this is why we had to" Every last one

One-hundred-thousand times a day You'll find us sitting by the bay Tossing shiny pennies Mia Fontana de trevi Only place I want to be Tossing shiny pennies You never said it out loud, but I know what you thought You left the bags at home, but the receipt's here and I know what you bought Followed your tracks and your hands are red Darling, you're so caught Ain't no need to protest Do as the rich do toward the homeless Toss some shiny pennies You never said it out loud, but I know what you thought You left the bags at home, but the receipt's here and I know what you bought Followed your tracks and your hands are red Darling, you're so caught

about

This album was recorded over the course of two months spent living in a matchbox-sized apartment room near Prospect Park in Brooklyn, NY over the summer.

Returning listeners may note that the production is much more "lo-fi" in approach than past efforts. This is due to my exclusion of bringing my USB microphone along to the city with me. I had to pack light, so I chose to leave it behind, and yet the itch to record music still needed scratching.

As always, I am eternally thankful to the friends and fans that listen and support. Much love, SVies.
